Rousseau 6 27 Sept. - 1 Oct. + 2 special “Magic Lantern” projections for children 27 & 30 Sept. 14:00hrs	Silent film with live musicians: “Visages d’enfants” (Children’s faces), 1923 In collaboration with the Cinémathèque Suisse, the Centre valaisan de l’image et du son, the Lanterne Magique and the Fondation vaudoise pour le cinéma. The major cinema event at this year’s festival will be the showing of “Visages d’enfants” or Children’s faces (Franco-Swiss, 1923) accompanied by a musical creation by the group Diatonikachromatik from Lausanne. Shot in the Val d’Annivers by Jacques Feyder, this fiction feature film is by far one of the most beautiful of the silent movies of the 20s. A tinted version, restored by Filmmuseum, Amsterdam, will be projected.
