"Carry
me away!": IMAGES '04
The IMAGES festival, organized under the
auspices of the Foundation "Vevey, Ville d'Images",
is henceforth a biennial event. Its fifth edition
will be held from 3 September to 26 September 2004
and will be devoted to the areas of photography and
cinema.
These two areas are united by a common theme :
"Carry me Away!" - Ecstasy, Possession and Other Transports.
Both are also the object of an international
project contest endowed with prize amounts that
make it a unique opportunity on the European scale.
Candidates are recruited among the next generation
of creators.
In September 2004, exhibitions, projections,
performances and musical events will occupy the
most diverse locations in Vevey. These will be in
association with cinemas, museums, wine cellars and
other venues suited for visual shows.
