The Room Series est un travail multiple qui joue avec les références et les différentes façons d’appréhender le réel. Ces scènes ont un caractère cinématographique, et font parfois penser au film noir par les jeux de lumière et mises en scènes. Une certaine torpeur englobe tous ses sujets, qui sont toujours représentés dans des instants d’abandon, d’introspection. Un travail hypnotique qui, à la manière d’un « memento mori », rappelle aux hommes la vanité de leurs activités terrestres.

The Room Series is a complex work that plays with references and differents ways of grasping reality. These scenes have a cinematogtraphic character and sometimes bring to mind noir cinema by their lighting effects and the way they are directed. A certain torpor encircles his subjects, always represented in moments of abandonment, of introspection. A hypnotic work that, in the same way as a « memento mori », reminds men of the vanity of their terrestrial activities.
