The series Street Music, 2002-2012 shows various instrument cases filled with coins. The missing instrument represents the music being played and the small coins allude to a ringing of loose change, a sound that is omnipresent throughout the exhibition alongside these otherwise silent images.
Shuffle is a deck of 75 cards portraying objects on which are represented decorative musical notes. This work invites the musicians to compose a series of images and then represent them musically. During the Festival, the ensemBle baBel will perform this piece.
As part of the SHOOT - La photographie existentielle (link) exhibition, The Festival Images presents Crossfire, an installation with four screens surrounding the spectator, who is face to face with a succession of scenes in which the protagonist fires a gun towards the camera.
