After Pill Boxes (2012), a film about the bunkers that are hidden in the Swiss mountains, Jeanne Susplugas and Alain Declercq present a new reflexion on the art of concealment by getting to work on the Théâtre de Vevey. They decided to cover the building with photographs of various French chateau, thus turning an institution whose primary function is to represent reality, into an illusion. Its architecture and facade are transformed, just like a stage that extends its play out onto the streets.
The Festival also presents the portrait of Silvio Berlusconi from the serie R.I.P (Portraits) in the exhibition SHOOT ! - la photographie existentielle.
Castle is a Festival Images (Vevey) production
