In this series, Nadav Kander latches on to a photographic genre which today is a little neglected: the nude. The morbid paleness of the bodies, their precise positioning and an absence of any eye contact, act as a barrier to any eroticism and challenges our perception of what makes a body beautiful. This work will be displayed as a world premiere at l’Espace Quai1, the permanent exhibition space of the Festival Images which features five yearly exhibitions of photographs having featured in Vevey International Photo Award.
This series also features in a publication to appear in autumn published by Hatje Cantz, Ostfildern
