Mutations itinérantes

Arnaud Lesage spent ten years collating the photographs of landscapes he shot while traveling. Whether buildings, roads, beaches, trees, flowers or rocks, the photographer organized his images in sequences of four frames to reveal their troubling formal analogies. Awarded the Leica Prize – Reportage by the Grand Prix Images Vevey 2007/2008, his Mutations itinérantes series invited viewers to look at their immediate environment and perhaps notice a form of ubiquitous universal model.
