“American Readers at Home”
During the 2016 Festival Images Vevey, as the race for the White House was in full swing, Swiss graphic designer and photographer Ludovic Balland roamed the US for his project Day After Reading.
In Vevey, an outdoor installation displayed the development of this project in real time. In a time when fake news abounds, when journalists are questioned and the world of news is undergoing major change, Ludovic Balland met with American readers to discuss the relationship they have with the written press.
A year later, institutional partner Images Vevey is delighted to take part in the publication of the wonderful book “American Readers at Home”, which traces this road-trip through the US media via 55 interviews and 400 photos.
