Camera Restricta

While shooting, this camera prototype created by the designer geo-locates itself via a GPS system and does an online search of the number of photographs taken within a close radius. If too many images have been taken in the selected standpoint, near a tourist attraction for example, the camera will not work: the shutter button retracts and the viewfinder is blocked. Users have to be creative for the camera to allow them to take a picture. By highlighting overexposed places, this invention compels us to reflect on the way we produce images in the digital age.
