In 2013, Alex Troesch (Switzerland, 1977) and Aline Paley traveled to the town of Breda in the Netherlands for the Redhead Days, the annual festival where red-haired people convene. The resulting Fauvism series is a gallery of portraits considered as a typological study. The mosaic of images hung on an orange-tinged corten steel facade gave viewers the impression of a crowd, an echo to the paradox of a minority feeling they belong to a clearly visible majority, at least for the duration of the event.
