In 2005, Benoît Grimalt missed a chance to photograph Penelope Cruz at the Cannes Festival. He kept the scene in mind and then decided to make drawings of it. The photographer had fun sketching a series of sixteen images he was unable to take, often for reasons beyond his control. Toying with the concept of decisive moment, his drawings were presented in very small size via View-Masters. This amusing device brought visitors back to childhood, enticing them to trigger the images the artist had to give up on.
