Settled in Buenos Aires since 1999, Gian Paolo Minelli roamed the city looking for unusual spots that would fuel his inspiration. His Buenos Aires, La Boca, 2014 series mixes urban landscapes and spontaneous portraits of residents the artist met in the La Boca neighborhood. Presented near the Usina de las Artes, the Argentine capital’s new cultural center, these images were displayed in their original context as part of the Cardinal Points project, thus showing the diversity of La Boca’s residents.
