Mathieu Bernard-Reymond

For this project, Mathieu Bernard- Reymond used economic infographics and statistics to digitally create architectural accidents that he then integrated into natural landscapes. As overwhelming monuments imposing on humans and their environment, these digital sculptures formally translate the global financial crisis of the late noughties. By using new technologies, the Monuments series presented at Espace Images revealed the narrative potential of images according to the context in which they are displayed.
