Surprise
With a name based on a German word pun meaning “to walk one’s mind like one walks the dog”, the members of the Berlin-based street art collective Mentalgassi find inspiration for their photography-based interventions during their city strolls. Like children having fun discerning fantasy animals and characters in clouds, their imagination blew over the town of Vevey as they placed a giant face around the trunk of a common tree, thus transforming it into a Christlike figure crowned with leaves.
