Keen travelers Thomas Kaufhold (Germany, 1957) and Michael Lapuks each delivered their particular take on restaurants around the world in the Foodnotes exhibition, presented at the Alimentarium Food Museum in Vevey. With the eye of a sculptor, Kaufhold assembled his images in mural montages that drew attention to the ephemeral nature of modern society, while Lapuks composed modern still lifes blending graphic arts and images to express everyday life in big cities.
