For her EUSA series, Naomi Harris traveled Europe searching for events inspired by American popular culture and, likewise, she traveled the United States looking for events celebrating the folklore of the old continent. While Europeans still dream of the Frontier and of the Civil War, Americans seek to reconnect with their Danish, Norwegian, German or Swiss origins and ancestors through these events. Thanks to a green screen photo booth, Festival Images offered visitors an opportunity to teleport themselves to a Swiss Western or to an Alpine horn concert somewhere in Kansas.
