As a tribute to the career of photo-reporter Yvan Dalain, trained in photography at the CEPV Vevey, Festival Images displayed one of his snapshots in large format on the facade of the municipal library, Italian migrants on their way to South America aboard the ship Anna C. taken in 1954. Facing the lake, the nearly 20-m2 installation gave the building the appearance of a transatlantic ship sailing toward a new world. During the Biennale Images Vevey, a selection of his books was available for consultation at the library, while the Swiss Camera Museum presented the Yvan Dalain photographe retrospective.
