Waiting for the Stream to Start is an interactive performance where the artist Amandine Kuhlmann embodies an automated character in an NPC-style livestream, allowing viewers to pay to trigger pre-programmed responses. Inspired by ORLAN’s Le Baiser de l’Artiste, this work critiques the performativity of digital interactions and explores their influence on self-image and human behavior.
