Biennale Images Vevey and Montreux Jazz Festival join forces to shine a spotlight on the Vaud Riviera in one of New York’s most iconic locations. After a first tailor-made art installation at Times Square in 2024, Images Vevey continues its mission to share its expertise on the international stage.

From 12 to 25 May 2025, a new monumental installation will be presented in Times Square: a video work entitled Guitar Portraits, created especially for the giant screens by Swiss photographer Henry Leutwyler. The piece pays tribute to ten legendary guitars once owned by icons such as Prince, Janis Joplin, and Jimi Hendrix.

A co-production by Biennale Images Vevey and Montreux Jazz Festival, in partnership with Switzerland Tourism and Montreux-Vevey Tourisme.
