Images Gibellina 2021

In 2021, Images Vevey is organizing a special edition of its biennial in Gibellina, the fruit of its collaboration since 2019 with the On Image association and actors from the Sicilian city.

Located south of Palermo, Gibellina is a veritable open-air museum, rich in a unique artistic heritage. It is in this particularly inspiring setting that Images Gibellina will present monumental open-air installations and custom-designed artistic projects during the summer of 2021, echoing the incredible architecture of Gibellina Nuova.

The series Self-portrait by Jun Ahn was presented at the Festival Images Vevey in 2018 and reinterpreted at Images Gibellina this edition 2021.

Renowned Swiss artists such as Olga Cafiero also exhibited at Images Gibellina.

Legendary street photographer Bruce Gilden exhibited on the wall of the famous unfinished teatro.
