Tribute to Milo Keller (1979–2025)

Tribute to
MILO KELLER
1979 – 2025

Milo Keller has passed away.
Images Vevey has lost a companion on the road and a true friend of the family.

His passing leaves an immense void in the field of photography and among all those who worked, learned and grew alongside him.

Images Vevey owes much to Milo’s vision, encouragement, dynamism, high standards and his disruptive, stimulating sense of humour. What especially bound Milo and Images Vevey was a shared commitment to emerging talent: our collaborations were built around supporting young artists and trusting first experiences, notably through the creation, under his impetus, of the Images Vevey × ECAL Prize.

He embodied a strong vision, a fair sense of rigour, great sensitivity and unwavering determination. Until the very end, he showed remarkable tenacity and strength in facing both his commitments and his illness, with a Latin elegance that left a lasting impression. His final battle stands, in itself, as an example.

Milo Keller is and will remain a living inspiration for Images Vevey. His legacy, shaped by rigour, generosity and a deep commitment to transmission, will continue to guide future projects.

With respect, sorrow and gratitude, we pay tribute to him. Our thoughts are with his family, his loved ones, the entire ECAL team, and with the students and alumni who benefited from his passion, as well as all those who encountered his gaze — so intense and profoundly beautiful.
