In 2024, Sara De Brito Faustino transformed L’Appartement – Espace Images Vevey into an immersive installation where reality, art and fiction intertwined through striking shifts in scale. A Home with no Roof now takes on its editorial form, co-published by Ciao Press and Éditions Images Vevey, extending the spirit of this singular exhibition.
One year later, to the day, Sara De Brito Faustino returns to Vevey to present this new publication and meet the public during a book signing. Join us on Thursday 27 November 2025 at 5 pm at L’Appartement – Espace Images Vevey!

Winner of the Images Vevey × ECAL Award 2023, Sara De Brito Faustino explores the dysfunctional home of her childhood through meticulously crafted models and self-portraits. In these miniature or disproportionate interiors—where softness meets strangeness—every detail becomes an act of reconstruction.
Her work now takes shape as a large-format book, accompanied by a miniature edition that revisits the artist’s signature play on scale. Both versions are available together on images.ch, while only the large edition is stocked in bookshops.

A graduate of the CEPV/Centre for Professional Education in Vevey and of ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne, Sara De Brito Faustino (1999) lives and works in Lausanne. Rooted in personal experience, her practice explores intimacy and the materiality of objects and the body. She has exhibited at Photo Elysée, Art Genève and the Centre de la photographie Genève. She received the Images Vevey × ECAL Award 2023 for her Bachelor graduation project, which became her first solo exhibition at L’Appartement – Espace Images Vevey. A Home with no Roof was also distinguished with the Françoise Champoud Prize 2024. In 2025, she is among the laureates of the prestigious Dior Photography and Visual Arts Award for Young Talents.
