The late Erling Mandelmann took portraits of over 500 celebrities including Maurice Béjart, Georges Brassens, Charlie Chaplin and Audrey Hepburn. As part of the permanent exhibition at the Musée Jenisch Vevey, the Oskar Kokoschka Foundation shows a set of images Mandelmann took of the Austrian painter during the twenty-five years he lived in Villeneuve, near Vevey. The Oskar Kokoschka dans l’objectif du photographe exhibition revives the bond that grew between the two men with photographs figuring the artist at home, at work, or proudly posing in his garden.
