SBB Cargo
For three consecutive years, on commission from the Swiss Federal Railways, Gérard Pétremand produced images for a calendar on the theme of freight transport. The SBB Cargo series plays with scale and blurring effects typical of the view camera. Displayed on the façade of the Vevey train station, the images gave viewers the impression that they were looking at miniature landscapes and railway networks, like those made by Märklin, the famous German brand.
