OK Go

Masterfully combining musical performance and visual arts, the American band OK Go became famous with the music video Here It Goes Again that scored over 50 million views on YouTube and won a Grammy award in 2007. Since then, the band has continued surprising audiences with extraordinary music videos filled with references to artists such as Fischli & Weiss, Markus Raetz or Georges Rousse. As a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Biennale Images Vevey screened the first retrospective of OK Go’s music videos, a combination of cutting-edge technology, clever craftsman-ship and rigorous staging, in the basement of an old tinware factory.
