As Time Goes By 1982 1988 1997 2014 forms a monumental photographic family tree. In 1982, Barbara Davatz began a project that would span more than thirty years, photographing 12 pairs of lovers, friends, and relatives from the Zurich creative scene. In 1988, 1997, and 2014, the subjects posed alongside their partners, new friends or with their children. Over three decades, Davatz composes a family album as intimate as it is timeless, depicting the shifting nature of emotional bonds and the unpredictable twists and turns of life.
