Multibillionaire Elon Musk embodies our collective contradictions in the age of hyper-consumption. Taking the entrepreneur’s journey as his starting point, Cedric Zellweger has created an ambitious and critical project that documents our era. Over several weeks, he staged around a hundred objects in his studio—some found at flea markets, others made with a 3D printer, which he captured with an analogue camera. Every image is packed with clues that refer to current world events. Taking its title from one of Musk’s own posts on X, this series asks a fundamental question: is this really the world we want to live in?
