What are two polar bears doing in a disappearing Swiss glacier? Starting from a photograph taken in the Rhône Glacier cave during a family visit in the 1990s, Thierry Raboud explores collective memory and the disappearance of a landscape subject to climate change. Combining archival material, vernacular images and testimonies, Foyer de glace reflects on the conservation of nature and family memory through photography, whilst questioning the legacy left to future generations.
