Some family photographs remain visible, framed, displayed on a piece of furniture or tucked away in an album. Others are stored at the back of a drawer, torn apart or have disappeared. The café-récit is a sharing session guided by questions, where everyone can talk or simply listen, without judgement or debate, around what these family images have to say. Led by Evelyne Mertens, it continues over a coffee or a drink to extend the conversation.
