Ok Matthew’s concert explores the connections between music and generative video. Analog instruments, synthesizers and images are brought together within the same system, where sound acts on the image and the machines respond to one another in real time. Guided by algorithms, but also by the constraints and accidents of analog instruments, the performance evolves music and images simultaneously. Repetitive forms, transforming patterns and faded colours compose an ever-evolving audiovisual landscape.
