The opening of Sommets, in the presence of photographer Maurice Schobinger and philosopher Laurence Devillairs, will be an opportunity to discover this new book during a talk starting at 18:00, followed by an apéro to celebrate its release. Through his radical framing, Maurice Schobinger photographs the peaks of the Alpine range, from Graubünden to the south of Mont Blanc, inviting us to look up towards these ultimate boundaries between Earth and sky. The photographs are in dialogue with texts by physicist Blandine Pluchet, who offers both a scientific and poetic reflection on these mountains, time and the history of our planet.
