Gabriele Galimberti

Whilst traveling the world for his CouchSurfing series, Gabriele Galimberti took the opportunity to pay a photographic tribute to the grandmothers who hosted him, asking them to prepare their signature dish. The Italian photographer documented his gastronomic encounters from three perspectives: the portrait of the cook with the ingredients, the dish, and the recipe. In Vevey, his Delicatessen with Love series was displayed in the garden of the Alimentarium, a museum that explores multiple aspects of food in the world.
